Crossing is an online Christian book club. Like other book clubs, when you initially join the club you can pick four or five books that you receive at a very deep discount. In exchange, you promise to purchase a certain number of books over the next two years. Each month they send you a list of the latest books at discount prices, and a book selection of the month. If you choose, you do nothing and they will send you the selection of the month, and charge you for it.
Their site is simple to navigate, and you can quickly pick your initial selection of books from their home page. Their greatest strength, however, is their expertise in choosing books that will appeal to Christian readers. Topics range from the theological to practical advise about family and finances. They could allow you to search a slightly deeper catalogue of books for your initial purchase, but other than this complaint, a very well constructed site.
