Thank you for your interest in Judy's Guide and our opt-out program. Before you choose to opt-out of being able to use Judy's Guide, We would like you to know a few things about how we handle our user's information...
- Only anonymous data similar to data collected by all web sites is collected unless you have chosen to become a registered member.
- All statistics that we gather for non-registered users are stored in agregate form only, and cannot be traced back to a specific user.
- In cases where we provide customized information for an unregistered user (such as your latest searches) that information is stored on your machine and not on our servers, so we cannot look at the activity or preferences of an unregestered user.
- If you are a registered user, you have access to all of your information through the Account Manager. Only your username and email address are required; you can delete or change any of the rest of your personal information at any time.
- We never sell a user's information to third parties, or in any way deliver that information to anyone else.
- We never send an email to a user that they haven't requested, and you can edit your email preferences at any time in your Account Manager.
If you still wish to opt-out of Judy's Guide data gathering procedures, and you are a registered user, please send an email to
support@judysguide.com with your username and email address and we will remove your member account and any data associated with that account. If you are not a registered member, there is not practical way for us to not collect the data that is part and parcel of standard web delivery. We suggest that you stop using Judy's Guide if you wish to ensure that you are not included in our agregate data.
